How does the training take place?

A clear, step-by-step plan for obtaining a driver's license in 8 steps.

STEP 1

Make number PKK

Instructions: "How to generate an RKK number for Warsaw"

1. Call urząd w wydział komunikacji in your place of residence (meldunku)

Say "Сhcę otrzymać PKK (profil kandydata na kierowcę)". They must say what is needed for this (badanie lekarskie, foto i meldunek)

2. make meldunek

To register your place of residence (*meldunek*), you need to go to the city or municipality office (*urząd miasta/gminy*), visit the registration department with your rental agreement (*umowa zamieszkania*), and state that you need to register. If you need assistance, you can contact Andrey at 729 269 148.

3. Obtain a medical certificate.

To obtain a medical certificate, you need to make an appointment with a doctor. You can find the nearest convenient location by googling "badanie/orzeczenie lekarskie na kat.B," or call:

4. Obtain an RKK number

Bring all your documents (passport, medical certificate, photo, and medical record) to the Office of the Director of Public Works and obtain a PKK number. You will need to fill out a "wniosek o wydanie prawa jazdy" to obtain your right to work before your visit or on-site. You can view the wniosek here.

To obtain a PKK number, you must have resided in Poland for at least 185 days.

5. Come to the ddrive driving school.

With all the collected information, come to our driving school at one of our offices:

STEP 2

Sign a contract with us.

Next, you come to our office to sign the contract, or you can sign it online.

STEP 3

STEP 4

Start the theory course.

Offline, online independently, or with an instructor—depending on the chosen package, you begin studying the theory.

We are starting practical driving.

In the express course, it begins immediately (3 to 6 classes per week), whereas in the standard course, it starts a bit later (in 1–2 weeks, with classes held twice a week).

STEP 6

interim internal exams

Next, you need to pass two internal exams: theory and practical.

STEP 7

Taking state exams

You take two state exams (theoretical and practical).

STEP 8

Get your license!

The state issues your driver's license; you apply at the same office where you obtained your residence card.

Before Enrolling in a Category B Course

How to Obtain a PKK Number in Poland

If you would like to obtain a driving licence in Poland, the first step is to receive a PKK number (Driver Candidate Profile). Below you will find a clear step-by-step guide explaining the process.

1. Contact the Department of Motor Vehicles (Wydział Komunikacji)

You should contact the Wydział Komunikacji (Department of Motor Vehicles) responsible for your place of residence.

Inform them that you would like to obtain a PKK number (“Chcę otrzymać PKK”). The office will confirm which documents are required. Typically, you will need:

A medical certificate confirming fitness to drive

A passport-style photograph

Address registration in Poland (meldunek)

2. Obtain Address Registration (Meldunek)

To receive a PKK number, you must be officially registered at a Polish address.

Visit your local Urząd Miasta / Urząd Gminy (City Office) with your rental agreement (umowa najmu) and apply for a meldunek (address registration certificate).

3. Medical Certificate

You must undergo a medical examination confirming that you are fit to drive.

4. Photograph

Prepare a passport-style photograph that meets official Polish document requirements.

5. Submit Documents and Receive Your PKK Number

Once you have collected all required documents:

Meldunek (address registration)

Submit them to the appropriate Wydział Komunikacji office. After verification, you will receive your PKK number.

6. Residency Requirement

Please note that in order to obtain a PKK number, you must have resided in Poland for at least 185 days. This is a legal requirement.

After receiving your PKK number, you may register for a driving course.

Is a Residence Card Required?

A residence card is not required for training. A valid visa is enough if it covers the course period.

Where Are Lessons Held?

We meet students near Targówek Mieszkaniowy Metro.
Final exam preparation takes place at WORD, Odlewnicza 8.

Format of Theoretical Lessons

Lessons are via E-learning (Polish, Ukrainian, or English).

Includes one live session with Denis in Russian (intercultural language).

Live sessions are held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 9:00–18:00 approximately once every 2–3 weeks.

Topics cover Polish traffic rules, advanced driving scenarios, and first aid.
